Pre & Post Care : Brow Lamination & Tint
Pre-Care
To get the full benefit of your Brow Lamination & Tint appointment follow these pre-care tips!
Makeup Free
Please come in for your appointment makeup free. For the products to be able to work into the hair properly there needs to be no make-up or products on the hair or skin on the brow area.
Hair Removal
To minimize skin reactions, avoid waxing, razoring, sugaring or threading for 24–48 hrs before or after your lamination.
Henna Brows
You must wait 10 weeks after getting henna brows before you can get a lamination done.
Products
Avoid any retinols and AHAs for 24–48 hrs before your appointment.
Exfoliation
Avoid exfoliating your brows for 24–48 hrs before your appointment to avoid skin reactions.
Post-Care
To get the full benefit of your Brow Lamination & Tint appointment follow these post-care tips!
When to Rebook
Re-book your brow lamination every 6–8 weeks for the best results, and to maintain the lamination. You can also book in your brow tint and wax between appointments if needed, as the tint fades sooner than the lamination.
Oil Products
Avoid oils and oil products on your brows. Oil will pull the tint out sooner.
Wet Brows
To stop the lamination bonds from being broken, avoid water, swimming, steam, sweating, anything water based from getting on the brows for 24–48 hrs after getting your lamination.
Brow Conditioner
Condition your brows daily. This helps keep the hair hydrated. You can use products such as castor oil or a brow conditioner.
Brushing Brows
Your brows are pliable. In the morning, you can use a damp cloth or cotton pad on them and brush them into place.
Products
If the brows are touched too much, the lamination and tint may not last as long. Exfoliation, over cleansing, and make-up are all things that can cause lamination and tint to not last.
